Growing Wild: The Importance of Native Trees with Larri Cochran, Master Gardener; Growing Wild plant giveaway In-Person

The Growing Wild movement encourages planting native trees & flowering plant species to support biodiversity in our local ecosystems.  People are often surprised at the role native trees and shrubs play in the survival of not only birds, but of our native butterflies, moths and bees, as well. Larri will discuss the important role of native trees & shrubs in our community and best design & planting practices.

Larri Cochran is a certified horticulturist and Landscape for Life Trainer,  a long-time Board member of the Western MA Master Gardener Association, and  co-directs the Northampton Community Garden. She offers consulting & design services. She teaches design workshops and manages native habitats.
